Honestly, the CDC was too late in preparation for this kind of emergency. Shaun of The Dead, Resident Evil movies and games, Plants vs. Zombies, and Zombieland has taught us too well on how to survive a hoard of flesh eating zombies. But there hasn't been a survival guide for old christian men with beliefs of the world's destruction on the May 21,2011. That is very inconvenient because its on a Saturday. That is one of the best days of the week. I haven't heard any apocalypse prediction that falls on a Monday.
Plan your evacuation route. When zombies are hungry they won’t stop until they get food (i.e., brains), which means you need to get out of town fast! Plan where you would go and multiple routes you would take ahead of time so that the flesh eaters don’t have a chance! This is also helpful when natural disasters strike and you have to take shelter fast.
