My Creative Post x My Creative Pals

I finally got a chance to finish this illustration that I started in May. Its based off my friends comedic sketch on YouTube. It was funny as hell. After I watched it, I immediately thought to sketch. This is what I came up with, and I hope ya'll feelin it. Feel free to check out the YouTube vid and check out Nore' Davis's website. He might be in a town near you so check out the tour dates.

I Discovered the "Wonder" Root of It All

This week I discovered Wonderroot via Facebook. Its a grassroot organization that provides facilities to atlanta artist and provides service programs to the community. Overall, their goal is to inspire positive social change through art. Next week, will host "Doodles: A Show of UnfinishedWork". Come and check it out. Of course, yours truly will be participating.

Anyway last weekend, I saw my Lil' Brother from BBBS. And I was sad to find out that he was moving away...to Virginia. I also found out that he was no longer eligible for the BBBS program, since he turned 14. That struck a chord in my mind. It would seem that most young men at the age of 14 need a mentor. During the ages of 14 through 17, men get involved in "good and bad" situations. My perspective of this is just coming from experience. I will still keep in touch with him and try my best to mentor him long distance. As far as getting a new lil' bro, Im still thinking about that.

The art scene in Atlanta is emerging and evolving. Its great to see other local artist getting recognition. Check out the pics.

Also check out Wanda King. She had work displayed and a vending booth tonight. She was hustlin' overtime

My Creative Post for September. IM BACK!

August was a disappointing month for posting. But I was busy. I got married to the love of my life. The day was sort of a climatic happy ending to the roller coaster year we've had. Moving into a house and planning a wedding can be time consuming. Nonetheless, we did it and we can finally relax and get back to our normal way of life. And I can start creating again.

"Untitled" is a visual freestyle. It doesn't have a particular theme. I just wanted to draw something cool. It can also be described as a "visual exercise" The composition and the relationships between each element is obvious. I hope you guys are feeling it.
