March is definately full of Madness!

I must admit that I haven't post or created anything lately, but I've been extremely busy. First my fiance' and I were trying to close on a house that we have been searching for since last May. We went through numerous closing dates, extreme paperwork, and high scrutiny. The mortgage bank was actually checking our overdraft fees from 2008. That's ridiculous. We did close in the middle of the week. In that same hour of the closing, I had a job interview. Furthermore, I got the job. Now, the only thing that was left was packing and moving.

Moving took at least a 3 day process. We had to schedule moving within our job schedule; so, we were constantly on the move for 3 days straight. On Saturday, we continued with our plan of packing the small stuff and using the movers for the big stuff. My fiance' had to leave for an appointment, and I stayed in the apartment to pack some more. While I was walking back and forth to the car, I opted to leave the front door to the apartment unlocked.

I continued packing our belongings in the bedroom, when I heard someone come in. I was thinking that it was my fiance'. No, it was a barefooted woman, wearing pajamas and holding a teddy bear. Apparently she was sleepwalking. Now, I am freaked out. Especially about the teddy bear! I just thought I was going to get stabbed on moving day. So I called our rental office to put a look out on a barefooted, teddy bear holding, pajama wearing woman who is apparently sleepwalking through the complex.

After that event, my fiance and I went to lunch. I told her what happened and certainly she laughed. It was crazy! After lunch I went to work. She said she would wait for the movers and take them to the house. After work, I went to the house to see what needed to be moved. The movers had a problem with our couch. It couldn't fit through the front door. Are you serious?
They had to take the mounts off the bottom of the couch. Nonetheless, it took them an hour and a half to do this. It finally got through the door.

After that, we were hungry again. We were about to go but we realized that we haven't seen our cat. We put her in the room so she wouldn't get in the way. When we looked she wasnt there. So, we started to worry. 30 minutes passed by, and we couldn't find our cat. We went back in the room and we noticed fur on our packed clothes. We lifted the clothes and there she was our beloved house pet. For a moment, we were actually worried that she ran away.

That Saturday night we just had chinese and went to sleep. We decided to start operation "clean up apartment" the next day. We finished the clean up...at 2:00 am. Nonetheless, it was finished. Now the only thing we have left is to unpack!

My Creative Stuff for March.

Honestly, I haven't gotten a chance to really sit down and sketch out any new fresh ideas. I did manage to see some exhibits that were really intersting. It's always good to see other artist's creativity. While I was walking on peachtree street, I came across the Kai-Lin Art Gallery. And so I decided to take a look at the displayed work. Greg Mike has came across the idea of using simple cans as his canvas. Furthermore, it works! The exhibit is up until the end of this week. Check it out.

Now, I guess my creative post for this month will be Crunch! Crash! Pow!. When I did this, I had Roy Lichtenstein infleunces, superheros, and boxing gloves in mind. I thought it would be cute to make a super hero for little girls.

Hopefully, Georgia will start to feel like "Georgia" and heat up. Next month I will be probably giving out some free Tee's and get into some screenprinting. So, be on the lookout!
