Obey and Levi's Live Art Installation by Shepard Fairey

Obey and Levi's decided to do a live art installation last night in Times Square. If you look closely at the installation you can see some of Obey's recognized images. Photo's and articles provided by Freshnessmag. Read Below

"Under the constant changing glare of neon lights, artist Shepard Fairey and a team of assistants descended upon the world’s most famous intersection, Times Square, last night for a special live art installation.  As a commemoration artwork for the new collaboration apparel between Fairey’s Obey and Levi’s, the artist made quick work out of a temporary wooden wall in front of hundreds of fans and onlookers.  Though the design was done in the spirit of the moment, the mosaic of posters were selected with thought, from Fairey’s earliest work with Andre the Giant graphics, to the most recent print highlighting the plight of Myanmar’s Aung San Suu Kyi. To best exemplify the feel of a collage, posters were then tore by hand and juxtaposed on one another. A final coat of paste ensured the finality of the installation. As a “thank you” gift to those braved the chilly pedestrian mall, Fairey took the opportunity to toss several of his sticker collection to the gathering crowd.

In the meantime, the limited apparel collaboration from Fairey’s Obey and Levi’s is now available at selected Levi’s store. And if you missed the festivities last evening, you can still view the poster collage by Shepard Fairey, which goes on display at Levi’s Times Square flagship store in New York City starting today."

Rosa Acosta + Terry Richardson + Supreme Photoshoot= WOW!

As most readers have noticed, Supreme’s latest campaign features modeling by Rosa Acosta and photography by none other than Terry Richardson. As provocative as always, a video for the shoot will be launched at SupremeNewYork.com soon as well. Until then, please enjoy the images below. Credits include: Studio Manager Seth Goldfarb, Assistant David Swanson, Stylist and Costume Leslie Lessin and special thanks to Angelo Baque. I don't think the the viewers are just going to look at the clothes, but I think Supreme did that on purpose. Enjoy!
These are not even all of the pictures!

PIXAR X MEDICOM TOY= GREAT!

Disney and Pixar’s latest animation Up that was released earlier this year which tells of a story of Carl Fredricksen who travels to South Africa by tying thousands of balloons to his house. Taking inspiration from the imaginative story, MEDICOM TOY haveproduced a set of KUBRICK and BE@BRICK  for the animation. The 100% sized KUBRICK is a detailed 3D version of Carl Fredricksen crafted well down to every detail. While the BE@BRICK does not depict any particular character but the clear blue sky they travel through, made of transparent blue plastic with Up logo on the back and the house flying on the stomach. Scheduled to be released on March 2010.

Part of This Complete Breakfast.....

Since its Halloween this week , I thought I would create something special. Cereal Killa is sort of a visual pun illustration that I've been working on for a while. Of course, its inspired by cereal characters such as Tony the Tiger, Captain Crunch, and others. Put a little Texas Chainsaw Massacre in the mix and this is what you get. Hope you're feelin it.

DJ Hero Press Conference with Jay-Z

The talk of the video game and music industry over the past few months has been all about the new video game by Activision, DJ Hero. The game itself is a spin off of the widely successful Guitar Hero franchise from Activision. To celebrate the release of the game, Activision partnered with two of today’s most recognizable faces of Hip-Hop in Jay-Z and Eminem to release a special limited edition version of the game entitled the Renegade Edition, which boasts a “premium Renegade Turntable Controller, hardshell Turntable Carrying Case that converts to a performance-ready DJ stand, and an Exclusive JAY-Z and EMINEM 2-CD pack.” To celebrate the release of the game this week, Activision hosted a Press Conference at The Plaza Hotel in New York City with special guest, Jay-Z. If you are addicted to Guitar Hero and always wanted to be the cool DJ at the party but never learned to scratch, then this is an easy buy.
