My Creative Stuff for March.

0 comments Wednesday, March 3, 2010
Honestly, I haven't gotten a chance to really sit down and sketch out any new fresh ideas. I did manage to see some exhibits that were really intersting. It's always good to see other artist's creativity. While I was walking on peachtree street, I came across the Kai-Lin Art Gallery. And so I decided to take a look at the displayed work. Greg Mike has came across the idea of using simple cans as his canvas. Furthermore, it works! The exhibit is up until the end of this week. Check it out.

Now, I guess my creative post for this month will be Crunch! Crash! Pow!. When I did this, I had Roy Lichtenstein infleunces, superheros, and boxing gloves in mind. I thought it would be cute to make a super hero for little girls.

Hopefully, Georgia will start to feel like "Georgia" and heat up. Next month I will be probably giving out some free Tee's and get into some screenprinting. So, be on the lookout!

If you are a sneaker head, then this guy is a legend. Tinker Hatfield is the renowned designer of many of Nike's most popular and innovative athletic shoe designs, including the Air Jordan III through Air Jordan XV, the twentieth anniversary Air Jordan XX, the final numbered Air Jordan, the XXIII, the 2010 (XXV) and other athletic sneakers including the world's first "cross training" shoes, the Nike Air Trainer. Hatfield oversees Nike's "Innovation Kitchen".
Recently, he sat down with WWD for an interview. Check it out.

In my opinion, the 11's are the best of all time. That's just my opinion.

Designers Who Need A Hug!

Yes! Designers need hugs. Editing any document to make it visually pleasing for your boss is always exhausting. Especially when the number of edits is in the mid 20's. Here is a blog/forum to express your frustrations instead of keeping it all inside. That can be unhealthy. Anyway check it out. Designers With Guns

In case you didn't see it last night on American Idol, General Larry Platt sings his hit song "Pants on the Ground". It's pure fire, and I wouldn't be surprised if a remix is made. Enjoy
